Our Perogative

Engineeringwhat's next.

We are a boutique technology consultancy. We partner with a small number of ambitious organizations to design, build, and operate the systems that move them forward.

The firm

Senior practitioners. Few clients. Long memory.

Modern operations live or die at the seam between strategy, software, and the people who run it. Our work begins where those three meet, and we don't leave until what we've built can stand on its own.

12+
Years of senior practice

Across enterprise, growth-stage, and public-sector mandates.

Customer revenue influenced

Across the products, platforms, and operating models we've shipped.

100%
Senior staffed

Every engagement is led and delivered by senior practitioners. No bench drag, no hand-offs.

How we engage

Three steps. No theater.

Most engagements move through the same three phases. The shape rarely changes. The depth depends on what the work asks for.

01

Listen

We start with a structured set of conversations. The goal is to understand the problem on its own terms before we offer any of ours. Most of what we recommend later is shaped by what we hear in this first week.

02

Frame

We turn the conversations into a written point of view. What the work is, what it isn't, what good looks like, and the trade-offs we're choosing between. This becomes the contract between us, and the document we measure ourselves against.

03

Build

Senior practitioners ship the work. We embed alongside your team rather than over them. When the engagement closes, what we've built can be operated, extended, and replaced by your people without our help.

What we believe

Four ideas we organize the firm around.

01

Senior, all the way down

The leverage in our work is judgment, not headcount. Every engagement is led and delivered by senior practitioners. There is no pyramid, no junior bench rotating through.

02

Few clients, deep work

We take on a small number of engagements each year. That ceiling is what allows us to stay long enough to make the work hold, and to say no when the fit isn't right.

03

Independent counsel

We are paid to think clearly, not to agree. We will tell you when a plan is wrong, when a vendor is the better answer, and when the work doesn't need us at all.

04

Built to outlast us

Our deliverable is never a deck. It is a system, an organization, or a decision your team can carry forward without us. If we leave and the work degrades, we have failed.

Who we serve

Founders, operators, and the institutions behind them.

We work with a small set of organizations who take their work seriously, and who want partners who do the same.
